The task required the rebranding of a product of our choice, for which I chose Ribena. We were to redesign the logo and packaging, and create a poster advertisement for the product.




My aim was to refresh Ribena's packaging and brand identity to appeal to a younger audience. The logo remained simple but with a visual addition of what the brand represents: blackcurrant beverages.

With a new colour scheme and mascot to represent Ribena, the label was designed in a friendly direction. The original packaging contained a lot of text, which posed as an obstacle for the overall layout.

Keeping with the fun and friendly tone, I wanted the poster to invoke a sense of adventure. The mascot is featured to be the point of attention.

I also decided to change the bottle lid to match the label, placing the mascot's head on the top. Photos of the final prototype are shown below.
